DIY Laundry Soap

Runners love to sweat, but we need some serious laundry soap to remove that funk. I despise spending over $20 on laundry soap when I’d rather be using my grocery budget buying food.

My friend Sarah blogged about how she made her own laundry soap on her blog, Simply Sarah. Read through her post before you continue.

I made a batch and love it! It is literally less than 1 cent a load. Are you kidding me!? That is amazing! The entire ingredients costs about $7 and I am not even a third through it. Genius, Sarah. My running clothes and my husband thank you.

Let sit for 24 hours. The final mixture will look like gloppy soup, that’s normal. The smell: clean. I sometimes add 1 dryer sheet to make the clothes smell even fresher.
